Welcome to Tinaroo Haven
Tinaroo Haven
Holiday Lodge is located in the Cairns hinterland known as The
Atherton Tablelands, just over an hours drive from Cairns in
Tropical North Queensland, Australia, the gateway to the Great
Barrier Reef.
We are
situated 200 metres from lake Tinaroo, an area famed for all
year round Barramundi fishing
as well as water
sports. Although we are situated 200 metres from
the lake, views of the lake have been obscured by the
forest growth which surrounds the property. The
nearest boat ramp is approximately 1km (drive) from the
property.
Tinaroo Haven
Holiday lodge is centrally located and consists of a high level
pole house (Al’s look-out) and a timber home (Percy’s
Hide-Away). The two houses, although next door to
each other, are separated by a covered walkway and each have
their own private entrances, verandahs and entertainment
areas. The property has been designed to provide views of
the surrounding mountains, and is hidden away in a secluded
area of 2.5 acres of native bushland. The accommodation
is fully self contained with all amenities and is suitable for
single families, couples or large groups.
